Digital Xrays, Portable Xray Machine, Computeralized Software, and more

Dental X-rays are a valuable diagnostic tool used to identify decay, tumors, cysts and extra teeth, as well as track the progress of previous procedures. We use digital X-rays, which have several advantages of traditional X-rays. For instance:

–Less Radiation: 90% reduction in radiation.

–More Comfortable: putting a small sensor in your mouth connected by a thin wire to a computer.

–Quick Developing: X-ray photograph is ready within a few seconds

–Magnified Images: easily displayed at a large size to show you close up any tooth decay and abnormalities.

Dental Cleaning, Fluoride Treatment, and Sealants

Comprehensive dental exams and cleanings are recommended once every six months for all patients. Regular cleanings help keep gums healthy and teeth cavity-free. A dental cleaning includes removal of tartar and plaque, which can build up and cause inflammation and disease if left untreated.

Fluoride is a natural substance that helps strengthen teeth and prevent decay in patients of all ages. Sufficient fluoride treatment is most important for children, to ensure extra protection against cavities in their developing teeth.

Dental sealants are thin, plastic coatings that create a smooth surface to fill deep grooves of the teeth to make them easier to clean. Decay often begins in these grooves because they are hard to clean and susceptible to a buildup of plaque.

Dental fillings, White/Stainless Steel Crown, Root Canal Treatment

Amalgam fillings (silver fillings) are considered strong, durable, and not sensitive to saliva contamination compared to other materials. Composite fillings (white fillings) are tooth-colored material often used in small to mid-size restorations, as they provide strength, durability and resistance to fracture.

Pulpotomy (baby root canal treatment) removes the diseased pulp tissue within the crown portion of the tooth. Next, an agent is placed to prevent bacterial growth and to calm the remaining nerve tissue. This is followed by a final restoration usually a white or stainless steel crown.

Dental crown is a restoration that covers or caps a tooth, preserving the tooth structure, withstanding biting and chewing forces well, and protecting it from further cracking or breakage.

Nitrous Oxide (Larghing Gas), Oral Concisous Sedation, and more

Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen (Laughing Gas) is a safe, effective sedative agent used to calm a child’s fear of the dental visit and enhance effective communication. Additionally, it works well for children whose gag reflex interferes with dental treatment.

Conscious Sedation is a management technique that uses oral medications to help reduce anxiety or discomfort during dental treatment. There are many safe and effective medications that can be used to help your child relax and promote an optimal environment for safe dental treatment. Unlike general anesthesia, sedation is not intended to make a patient unconscious or unresponsive.

Ortho Appliances, Braces and Wires, Clear Aligner, and more

Orthodontic treatment in young children is known as interceptive orthodontics, and it can begin as early as age 6, 7 or even younger. At this age, teeth are still developing and the jaw is still growing. That means certain conditions, such as crowding, may be easier to address.

Common occlusive development problems include anterior/posterior crossbite, limited arch space, premature loss arch space, thumb sucking/tongue thrust/pacifier habit, etc

Fixed/removable orthodontic appliances, braces/ortho wires, and clear aligner can be used to correct these malocclusion at early age.
