Dental X-rays are a valuable diagnostic tool used to identify decay, tumors, cysts and extra teeth, as well as track the progress of previous procedures. We use digital X-rays, which have several advantages of traditional X-rays. For instance:

–Less Radiation: 90% reduction in radiation.

–More Comfortable: putting a small sensor in your mouth connected by a thin wire to a computer.

–Quick Developing: X-ray photograph is ready within a few seconds

–Magnified Images: easily displayed at a large size to show you close up any tooth decay and abnormalities.

Amalgam fillings (silver fillings) are considered strong, durable, and not sensitive to saliva contamination compared to other materials. Composite fillings (white fillings) are tooth-colored material often used in small to mid-size restorations, as they provide strength, durability and resistance to fracture.

Pulpotomy (baby root canal treatment) removes the diseased pulp tissue within the crown portion of the tooth. Next, an agent is placed to prevent bacterial growth and to calm the remaining nerve tissue. This is followed by a final restoration usually a white or stainless steel crown.

Dental crown is a restoration that covers or caps a tooth, preserving the tooth structure, withstanding biting and chewing forces well, and protecting it from further cracking or breakage.

Orthodontic treatment in young children is known as interceptive orthodontics, and it can begin as early as age 6, 7 or even younger. At this age, teeth are still developing and the jaw is still growing. That means certain conditions, such as crowding, may be easier to address.

Common occlusive development problems include anterior/posterior crossbite, limited arch space, premature loss arch space, thumb sucking/tongue thrust/pacifier habit, etc

Fixed/removable orthodontic appliances, braces/ortho wires, and clear aligner can be used to correct these malocclusion at early age.
